Data Protection (GDPR)

Where GDPR applies, the operator of FastTradein (support@fasttradein.app; see Operator details in the Privacy Policy) acts as processor for customer and trade-in request data that a partner store enters in the workspace, and as controller for partner-account data and marketing inquiries sent to us directly.

The production application servers are located in Germany (EU). Personal data is not transferred to advertising platforms. Sub-processors for email or infrastructure, when used, operate under written terms.

On Business and Pro, partners can export trade-in requests (CSV); every partner can anonymize customer details on a request in the workspace. End-customer rights requests that arrive at FastTradein are routed to the relevant store when the store is the controller.

The Data Processing Agreement applies to every partner from sign-up. A countersigned copy is available on request at support@fasttradein.app.

Your rights: under GDPR, you can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing, and data portability, and you can object to processing. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your EU country.

Where data is kept: application data and backups are hosted by OVHcloud in Germany (EU). Service email is sent by an email delivery processor with a data center in the EU. Subscription payments are handled by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, and FastTradein does not see card numbers.

Analytics on the public site (Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity) starts only after consent in the cookie banner. Workspace pages do not load these tools, except one Google Analytics sign-up event right after registration, so customer and trade-in data from the workspace does not reach them.

To make a request, write to support@fasttradein.app. We answer within one month, as GDPR requires, and tell you if the store, not FastTradein, is the controller of your data.
